Grammar Rule
The Structure

| Something belongs to YOU | Your | Your father / Your phone |
| Something belongs to HIM (male) | His | His sister / His name / His dog |
| Something belongs to HER (female) | Her | Her brother / Her name / Her car |
Common mistake — HIS vs HER: Use His for males (brother, father, Carlos). Use Her for females (sister, mother, Sofia). Example: His mother = Carlos’s mother. Her brother = Sofia’s brother.
