The Rule
Have or Has?

| I / You / We / They | HAVE | Most subjects → HAVE |
| He / She / It | HAS | He, She, It → HAS (the third person singular) |
Memory trick: HE, SHE, IT → HAS. You can remember it as “3 letters → 3 letters” — HE = 2, SHE = 3, IT = 2… just remember HE/SHE/IT always use HAS. Everything else is HAVE.
