"Hello! Welcome to Unit 6 — Near or Far?
Today we learn four very useful words: THIS, THAT, THESE, THOSE.

[Point at something near, touch it]
THIS — near, one thing.
This is my pen. This is a book. This is my bag.

[Point at something far, gesture away]
THAT — far, one thing.
That is the door. That is a window. That is your chair.

[Gesture at multiple nearby things]
THESE — near, more than one.
These are my books. These are my keys.

[Point at multiple distant things]
THOSE — far, more than one.
Those are the chairs. Those are the windows.

THE SIMPLE RULE:
Near → THIS (one) or THESE (many)
Far → THAT (one) or THOSE (many)

[Show all four]
This pen — near, one.
That door — far, one.
These books — near, many.
Those chairs — far, many.

Easy! Let us practice!"
