Most nouns: just add S. Book → books. Pen → pens. Apple → apples.
[Show box] But some words are different. BOX — ends in X. Add ES. Box → boxes. Bus → buses.
[Show child/children] Some are completely different! Child → CHILDREN. Person → PEOPLE.
THE RULE: one thing = singular. More than one = plural.
