Hello, and welcome to our listening activity! Today, I’m going to describe a day at the beach. Listen carefully and answer the questions that follow.
It’s a beautiful sunny day at the beach. The waves are crashing against the shore, creating a soothing sound. People are walking along the sandy beach, enjoying the warm sand between their toes.
As you look around, you can see families building sandcastles. Children are laughing and playing in the sand, using colorful buckets and shovels. Some parents are sitting on beach chairs, watching their kids and enjoying the view.
The beach is also a popular spot for water activities. Some people are swimming in the clear blue sea, while others are surfing on the waves. You can hear the excitement in their voices as they catch the perfect wave.
Don’t forget about the seagulls! They are flying above, searching for food. You might even hear them squawking as they try to snatch a snack from beachgoers.
Now, let’s see how well you listened. I will ask you some questions about the things you heard. Are you ready?
