Emily: (Smiling) Hi, I’m Emily. What’s your name?
John: (Friendly) Hi, Emily. I’m John. Nice to meet you.
E: (Polite) Nice to meet you too, John. Where are you from?
J: (Answering) I’m from New York. How about you?
E: (Answering) I’m from Boston. Do you live here now?
J: (Explaining) No, I’m just visiting. I wanted to see this park. It’s beautiful.
E: (Agreeing) Yes, it is. I come here often. (Pauses) Are you here with friends or family?
J: (Explaining) I’m here with my family. They’re over there. (Points)
E: (Friendly) That’s nice. I’m here with my dog. (Points to her dog)
J: (Interested) What’s your dog’s name?
E: (Answering) His name is Max. He’s very friendly. Would you like to say hi?
J: (Excited) Sure, I’d love to!
