Formula:
Subject + have / has + past participle + complement + for / since + time reference

🔸 for = a period of time (how long?)
🧩 We have lived here for five years.
🧩 She has studied English for two months.
🧩 They have worked here for a long time.

🧩 I have lived here since 2019.
🧩 He has worked at the company since January.
🧩 She has been sick since last week.

🧠 Quick Tip for Students:

Use for = “how long?” (⏳ duration)
Use since = “when?” (📅 starting point)
