Interview 3 (Customer Service Position)
Step 1 script (read the script)
Interviewer: Hi, thank you for coming in for the interview. Could you introduce yourself and tell me why you’re interested in working at our call center?
Candidate: Hi, my name is Sarah and I’m interested in working at your call center because I have a passion for helping people and I believe I have the necessary skills to provide excellent customer service.
Interviewer: That’s great to hear. Can you tell me about a time when you provided exceptional customer service?
Candidate: I used to work as a sales associate at a clothing store, one day a customer came in looking for a specific type of shirt. I didn’t have it in stock, so I took the customer’s information and promised to call him as soon as we received the shipment. The customer was impressed with my service and ended up becoming a loyal customer
Interviewer: That’s a great example. How do you handle a customer who is upset or angry?
Candidate: I understand that some customers can become upset or angry, and it’s important to stay calm and empathize with them. I listen to their concerns, apologize for any inconvenience, and try to find a solution to their problem.

Interviewer: That’s a good approach. Can you tell me about a time when you had to multitask and handle multiple customers at the same time?
Candidate: Yes, in my previous job at a restaurant, I often had to take orders from multiple tables at the same time. I learned to prioritize tasks and keep track of each customer’s needs while also being efficient in my work.
Interviewer: Excellent, it sounds like you have good customer service skills. Lastly, why should we hire you for this customer service position at our call center?
Candidate: I have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. I also work well in a team environment and am always willing to learn and grow in my role.
