Jenny’s Creative Entry Listening Quiz
Listen to Jenny's description of her science fair project and the surrounding context. Answer the following questions based on what you heard.
Script:
“Welcome back to the Greenfield Elementary Science Fair! The gym is buzzing with excitement as students set up their projects. Look, here comes Jenny, arriving a bit later than the others with her special project in tow.”
“Hi, I’m Jenny. I’ve brought something really cool to show you today. This is my diorama. It’s full of bright colors and shows different places in nature, like forests and deserts. I’ve worked hard to make it look beautiful and tell a story about our planet.”
“As I look around, I see so many amazing projects. Sam’s volcano is huge and makes a lot of noise when it erupts. Alex’s solar system is so precise and detailed. My diorama is smaller and doesn’t make any noise, but it’s full of colors and it’s very creative. It’s different from the others, but I hope it’s just as interesting.”
“I really want everyone to like it. It might not be as big or loud as some projects here, but I think it’s special. It shows how beautiful and different our world is. I hope you all find it as interesting as I do.”
“Jenny’s project might not catch your eye at first like the louder projects, but it invites you to come closer and discover its beauty and message. It’s a quieter entry, but it stands out with its creativity and the important message it carries about our environment.”
