At CONVERSATIONS B1 LEVEL CEFR, a student should be able to:

  • Hold more extended conversations on familiar topics.
  • Communicate in everyday situations, including making plans and arrangements.
  • Give simple opinions and explanations.
  • Understand the main points of clear standard input.

CONVERSATIONS B1 LEVEL

Each of these CONVERSATIONS FOR B1 LEVEL students, will provide students with an opportunity to practice B1-level skills, including extended conversations, making plans, giving opinions, and understanding standard input using natural phrases. Here are the titles and descriptions for all ten:


1. Weekend Getaway

Description: In this conversation, students will plan a weekend trip, discussing destination options, activities, and schedules. They’ll practice making arrangements and expressing opinions about travel plans.


2. Talking About Favorite Hobbies

Description: Students will discuss their favorite hobbies, explaining what they enjoy and why. This conversation allows them to give simple explanations and understand each other’s interests.


3. New Movie Release

Description: In this conversation, students share opinions on a new movie release, discussing the plot, actors, and their plans to watch it. They practice expressing opinions and making plans.


4. Job Interview Preparation

Description: Students discuss their upcoming job interviews, sharing tips and experiences. They practice giving advice and understanding suggestions for interview preparation.
