He Works, She Cooks – Talking About Daily Routines

🎯 Objective

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to describe the daily routine of two people they know using affirmative sentences in the simple present tense with “he” and “she.”

They will use common daily activity verbs and apply correct third-person singular forms. This will help them speak clearly about their family members’ routines in everyday conversations.

EXAMPLE:

Hi, my name is Rose. I want to tell you about my sister and my brother.
My sister wakes up at 6 a.m. She drinks coffee and watches the news.
My brother starts work at 7. He drives a bus and comes home at 4 p.m.

📘 Explanation

We use the simple present tense to talk about what people do every day.
When we talk about he, she, or it, the verb usually ends in -S.

🎯 Step 4: Say It After Me – Then Change It!

You’ve already practiced listening and repeating. Now it’s time to say something new using the same structure.

You’ll hear a sentence. Then, say it again — but choose a different option. You can do this multiple times using the choices below.

This helps you speak naturally and learn how to change key parts of a sentence.
